Should Nintendo talking about the Wii U successor scare me from buying one?

Are you thinking aobut big 3rd party and exclusives or purely exclusives?

I'm talking about exclusives,  now lack of 3rd party is a whole nother problem itself

Wii U has plenty of exclusives out now and those that are coming... So then why are you crying anyway when Wii U has bunch of exclusives out now and a lot more coming?
