Next will be price. How much will the service cost. The cost part will be very important. I believe anything over the cost of streaming services like Netflix, Hulu Plus etc will meet with a lot of resistance. Last but not least, is this target market to play PS1/PS2/PS3 games really that large. I am really interested to see how the service performs, the pricing structure and the demand. yep, that right there. the tech seems amazing but i also have less than zero interest in ps1 games. ps2 has some classics i'd replay but very few and i'd pay very little for them. ps3 is kind of cool, for now. i year or two down the road it will be just like ps2,.. a few classics but very few i'd still want to be paying any money for.
new games is where this service would be spectacular and it won't have it at launch. ps+ got better with time so hopefully it will be the same with psnow but at launch i can't see myself using the service UNLESS,.. they give me free access to ps+ titles to play my ps3 backcatalog on ps4 or free access with my current ps3 digital library. ...not sure i see that happening though.
the business model is what will make or break this service.
