It's kind of amazing that this guy keeps opening his mouth and defecating all over the internet with each breath he takes. Playstation Now, isn't really for folks like us who keep past consoles, and have giant libraries. Right now it's absolutely going to be focused to the consoles, as a type of beta run (which will include more folks than the current beta test), my take is it's a shot at hitting the much much wider demographic of people with TV's, Smartphones, Tablets etc...
If Playstation Now provides access to the bulk of the PS1/2/3 library, on any of the above devices, which is what Sony eventually plans, it opens up a massive demo of people who aren't necessarily interested in buying a console, but have kids, or the random urge to play a game now and again. Not only would the subscriptions represent a good chunk of change, but it would also open up the periphery market to them as well, which is where a great deal of money is made by hardware manufacturers.
I have a PS3 and a PS2, and a gaming PC, but I understand that this service isn't really made for me. I'm always going to have at least one console kicking around and my PC. This is for folks who simply don't game on the level that I do, and clearly, there's a large amount of people with wallets that this targets.
