While there are tons of games that were amazing for their time, I don't think most people will be going back to them. Maybe only 1 or 2 titles will rekindle a short interest. PS3 games, yes to clear up a backlog and then unsubscribe when you're done, but PS1/2 not really.
For example, I sunk 100s of hours into GTA3 on PS2, but would I go back to ever play it? With the likes of GTA5 out, not a chance.
It's a little different from Netflix, where you have entire seasons which are chronological in story line that you'd want to watch. Video media is different to games because it is a passive past time. So while you would be willnig to go back and watch Groundhog Day again, like most people you won't play DMC1 because it's a "been there done that" kind of deal.
That is my prediction. PS NOW won't appeal because people are not that interested in paying to play such old titles.
