Finally someone posted the numbers! This is what I've been thinking too, how can people be constantly saying it's down, when it's up? I still don't think it's peaked either, sure it's down in Japan so far, but I don't believe Nintendo will let that just go by without doing something, be it a new 3dsi or a pretty hefty price cut, or both. I find it funny too, when people look at the known list of games for 2014, and say that's it. When have they ever released the games list for the entire year without anything added or a bunch of new games added later on? How many new awesome games kept and keep coming to the 8 year old consoles? I'm sorry but new games are coming, and there will be a big new game somewhere that no one saw coming, it's always happened. I find it strange that so many are already calling for the demise of the 3ds, when to me, it's bright future is sitting right in front of it.... And that statement is not directed at either of you, just in general.
