The Wii brand is dead. Nintendo has bet on the wrong horse this gen and will now have to ride it. That happens when you build your success on something so volatile and ignore the more traditional franchises.

No third party will even risk to make a game for the console if the successor to a 7 million + seller (Wii Fit + Wii Fit Plus) barely sells 6k on its opening week.

Nintendo did and shared NOTHING concrete during the quarterly meeting, all promises, speculation and announcements of announcements of things that could propbably never come to be (ALA Wii Vitality and several other games that Nintendo announced but never came during last gen) . Things will get bad come the Year End results.

Wii fit sold 200k FW in Japan and it ended selling 20M+,

you know perfectly Nintendo games are not frontloaded much less in these hard times, i agree on the last paragraph though
