That past is always relevant when discussing the present and the future, without it there is no accurate basis of perception.
You are basically seeing your ass with him for pointing out that the wiiu performance difference is only bigger because the Wii wasn't much of a leap at all from the GameCube, which it wasnt. |
I recommend you read my other responses to him as to why I said that. Or, like him, you need to watch the (rather pointless) video and see why it is irrelevant to the topic at hand.
In the video itself, it refers to what he was already talking about and pretty much says so that it is not part of the point. The guy in the video is isolating the Wii to Wii U jump vs PS360 to PS4/XBO jump, and only comparing those with each other. Why? The best I can come up with is that someone has been telling him that the Wii to Wii U jump wasn't much.
Think about his comment with that context in mind. What happened before doesn't have anything to do with the jump between Wii and Wii U standing alone. That is what this thread is about. It is NOT about the efforts into the jumps. It's NOT about which console will look best. It COULD be about which consoles may see the most improvement over its life (in a really roundabout way) but still has nothing to do with what he's saying and only proves to try and discredit the Wii U for such a small and weird "accomplishment."
