3ds down year on year? I thought it was up slightly for 2013 over 2012... Maybe I'm mistaken. Plus, one thing people aren't taking into consideration, is, people tend to buy systems in their prime, when they have an established library of amazing titles, like 3ds has.
And also price, yeah yeah, the 2ds.... That's why no one is buying the 2ds..... When the actual 3ds gets a price cut to $99-$119, I bet it will sell tons, if not better than ever.
Remember people, the base 3ds model is still $170! And the xl is $200! That's more than the ds ever was! I
I think mostly the haters say the 3d is a gimmick, but for me, and I think judging by the 2ds sales, that 3d is not really a gimmick. It's a problem on tv's, where you need glasses, but you only need you eyes for perfect 3d on the 3ds. I think the 2ds was Nintendo listening to the people who say they don't want 3d, and those people won't buy one anyway! Who wants a stripped 3ds? No one, that's who. So please, just stop with the nonsense "peaked" bs, especially when the most popular model (the xl) costs as much as a vita.... I really laugh when I read analysts here saying it's peaked. I can't see it selling less than 13 million without a price cut, if they drop the small 3ds to 119, and the xl to 149, I see the 3ds selling 15+ million.
