Before long it will be a year and a half into the Wii's lifecycle and at this point it STILL doesn't have the sort of library that you expect the market leading system to have. Is E3 the big announcement platform for third parties? Considering the shadow of its former self that it now is, I wouldn't be betting as much on it as in previous years. Spin it how you want, throw the excuses up all you want, but take it from someone with a soft spot for Nintendo: It's a seriously bad sign that third parties STILL haven't thrown anything much decent behind the Wii (perhaps Capcom excluded), and I honestly doubt it's going to change. WTF is the deal?
Hudson said Deca Sports is one of its top games of the year and that is a Wii exclusive.  You already mentioned Capcom but they continue to impress me.  2 RE games, a great golf game, Zack and Wiki.  Square is working on 2 Final Fantasy games.  Sega's most popular and best selling games are on Wii.  Namco is doing all type of interesting things including working with the balance board.  You have a point but it looks like Japanese companies are putting lots of attention on the Wii.  US and European companies seem to be the ones lacking and with 360/PS3/PC working so well on some many games the Wii may never be the major system for US companies.
