Hindsight: Which Console was REALLY more powerful? Super Nes or Genesis

I own 48 genesis games, with the most recent being vectorman 2 and Pulseman. I'll not stop until I have 100. A list that contains every genesis game I ever played, yes, I remember every last one, good or bad, and every game that I think looks cool to own.

I have it on my list and it will be completed in 2015 at some point. I may end up going past 100.

Anyway, I've never owned any nintendo console in my life and obviously I still support my genesis to this day, but even I admit that the SNES is beter than genesis.

I've owned 5 genesis consoles in my life, two of them functional, and Ive owned every major sega console after the Genesis.

To me, sega wins in speed and sound, because the only time snes outdid genesis was maximum carnage, and Battletoads&Double Dragon:TUT.

Even Separation Anxiety sounds better on genesis. I think the SNES suffers from too much bass and the sound effect sound like its having to go through a wall before it gets to my ears.

I just don't like it.

Anyway, doesn't matter now. It wasn't about specs then, and it still isnt, now. I like genesis more.
