Tuscaniman99 got banned for 30 days. damnnn lol

Once a user comes back from a 30 day ban, then the mod team strongly considers a permaban for said user if they break the rules again. If you're not going to shape up after 30 days... then there's really no point in continuing this game of cat and mouse.

Back in the day, users were banned up to 90 days before considering being permabanned. Pretty funny. ^_~

Dr Grass is still out til the end of Feb on a ban since December. He layed into someone pretty badly to warrant it. But John117 gave the long time out.

edit - not in anyway saying the moderation was unjust btw! just saying that the "back in the day" comment was odd since there was a 90 day ban active http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=5886555 I dont think anyone would call that unjust

There are some instances where we go above the 30 day mark. Usually when a user gets to the 20 or 30 day ban length the mods all decide on whether to permaban said user or not. And when we plan to permaban someone, we like to give them a warning ban that tells them if they don't knock it off, they will get permabanned on their next ban. Mind you, the warning ban is always associated with an actual moderation that they would receive (much like you see in Dr. Grass's ban message).

In Dr. Grass's case, we didn't discuss permabanning him until his last ban, which is why it's a lot more than 30 days.
