No. It's the 8th gen now. The 7th is over.

Maybe for you, but out of the 260,000,000 consoles sold in the 7th gen, only 15,000,000 have been replaced with next gen consoles.  So you could say that 245,000,000 gamers do not agree that the 7th gen is over.

But Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo agree that it's the 8th gen now, and they are ones who decide by releasing next gen systems.
