There is a big difference between the public release and the NPD Report... every company that pays the NPD Report receives it full with all data... the NPD free public release was out on the site online for everybody... this one stopped to release the numbers after the companies (Sony, Microsft, Nintendo, etc) asked the NPD Group to stop to release the hardware and software numbers.

But the companies that paid the NPD report yet receive all the data.

And Sony can't lie about the 5:1... just stop... you are starting to embarrass yourself.

Lol i don't really cae who sold more but for me its only offical until both companies have confirmed it .  No matter how you try and spin it,, the facc remains is that theres no link that directly say that PS4 sold x amount of console for those amounts.No link to prove those figures from NPD no proof. Simple really.To bad not many can afford both which i am fortnate ot be able to own this gen. sure they sold more cumulative but to that precise figures nope. Anyways i am off to play AC4 on xbox one.  Peace out
