I owned Street Fighter II turbo and I don't know if it makes sense to count it as the same game as Street Fighter II. IIRC, to me it makes as much sense as counting Pokemon Crystal with Pokemon Gold/Silver.
But anyway, Street Fighter II is the most important Fighting Game ever, as important as Super Mario Bros or Doom.
