Vita and 3ds are in their own gen, not gen 8. I think its handheld 6th gen.

when they talk about generation in video games... that includes hand held....

 

so 8th gen include 3ds and vita

So when someone says "8th gen consoles" we have to automatically include 3DS and PSVita?
