my thoughts exactly.
TBH i wonder how many Nintendo gamers think
"Why would I play third party on "shitty" consoles when PC is the better experience? With theoretically better graphics more FPS and MOD support!"
"Why would I play shooters with an alalog stick its like playing SuperMario with a racing wheel. it will work but is stupid"
I mean I dont buy third party games on consoles because they are always cheaper and BETTER on PC. I own consoles for exclusives.
Also third party publishers devalue their games way to fast IMHO because they think "3 months! if it does not sell within 3 months its a failure PRICE DROP!" And then their games end up with a $5 price tag on steam within 12 months.
I would start buying third party games when
- they are reasonably priced (not 70 bucks compared to 60 on PS360 when WiiU was new!)
- When devs put effort into porting it over and
- when the console specific features like the Gamepad are used well. I mean e.g Every car in GTA would have its own dashboard design on the gamepad with car manufacturer specific RADIO/GPS design etc."
- And when third party games become less MAINSTREAM and more POLISHED.
But as long as console versions have NOTHING to offer compared to PC (WiiU has potential to do it) i will keep buying my games on PC for 10% of the console versions price.
