I can't quite wrap my head around that. The most impressive number here is PS2. If you look at PSP/PS2/Wii/DS it shows that price is a huge factor. The industry's doing well, but the U.S. economy sucks. The gameheads will still buy stuff, but the masses will go for the cheaper stuff. Price cuts may play a big role in this yet, it seems. |
Only the last week of April will be that interesting from a GTA IV perspective. The month is practically over when GTA comes out and most of its' effect on hardware might not be seen until May. Of course, this depends on which weeks are counted by NPD for their April.
