Oh come on the drm gate was and is still pure BS.... 90% of the customer buy and sell their games through stores that would have been accredited anyway.... Only the hardcore gamers with a better local store or time to go through eBay or craig's list where really concerned which is an incredible small minority...

now that being said... PS4 might have a decent head start, they are far from the expected total domination most of us planned... And the road is very long until the end of the Gen... MS has still plenty of cards to play... Beside Europe and Japan emerging markets and other Asian markets with 0 national interest are up for grabs... And they have way more power to be aggressive on pricing and non gaming offer they can invest in proportion Sony will never be capable of in the next decade... From a pure business stand point MS can still be the most profitable this Gen and the most lucrative for publisher if they play it right... They way more maneuverability imo... I still believe that the gap will never reach the extremes people had planned a few months ago...

You don't know that. I know I'm just speaking for myself here, but I go to Disc Replay, and there's only a handful of stores for that chain. But I can go there and pick up Skyrim for $15, and ANY used game (so all of them, since that's all they sell) will be no more than $42.99. Not only $5 off MSRP, like Gamestop. If someone sold a game to DR a week after it came out, it wouldn't be $54.99. It'd still be $42.99.

And eBay is great for buying and selling games as well. You get straight up money, as opposed to store credit, and you get way more than what "accredited" stores would offer. I think the "small minority" is bigger than what you think, and even if it wasn't, you shouldn't support it just just because "only the hardcore gamers blah blah blah"

beside pawnshops and very small chain it's not like people have many choices anyway hence why most people go to major store retailers..... and most of the small one and even main gaming only store have been going through really hard times lately... i.e.GAME that went south in several countries.... with gamestop and subsidiary holding almost the entire market in some countries and even them areunder fire.....

that being said.... I don't care either way since I'm going DD this gen anyway and took this decision way before the XBox one reveal.... I'm just not gonna buy a full cart of game at a time like I use to do every few month or so, I'll just get one or 2 at a time untill I finish them and then 1 or 2 more etc.... and will be looking way more at digital discounts than I did early this gen.... cause right now going to second hand store I have something like 25 games left to play on 360 or to finish (most of which are big name titles) .... so yeah I'm done with discs anyway....
