Oh come on the drm gate was and is still pure BS.... 90% of the customer buy and sell their games through stores that would have been accredited anyway.... Only the hardcore gamers with a better local store or time to go through eBay or craig's list where really concerned which is an incredible small minority...
now that being said... PS4 might have a decent head start, they are far from the expected total domination most of us planned... And the road is very long until the end of the Gen... MS has still plenty of cards to play... Beside Europe and Japan emerging markets and other Asian markets with 0 national interest are up for grabs... And they have way more power to be aggressive on pricing and non gaming offer they can invest in proportion Sony will never be capable of in the next decade... From a pure business stand point MS can still be the most profitable this Gen and the most lucrative for publisher if they play it right... They way more maneuverability imo... I still believe that the gap will never reach the extremes people had planned a few months ago...
