Before I go on I would like to say this isnt meant to be a Wii U doomed thread, just showing how Wii U is doing compared to Nintendo's 2 lowest selling home consoles in the same time frame.

Wii U shipments as of March 31, 2014 (Nintendo forcast)-6.25 million

Nintendo 64 shipments as of March 31, 1998-15.22 million

Nintendo 64 lifetime shipments-32.92 million

Gamecube shipments as of March 31, 2003-9.55 million

Gamecube lifetime shipments-21.74 million

http://vgsales.wikia.com/wiki/Nintendo_GameCube

Nintendo 64 and Gamecube had each sold about 45% of there lifetime numbers by the end of the first full fiscal year. If Wii U has a similar lifespan and sales curve then it will end up with less than 15 million sold. Ill give it the benefit of the doubt since its more expensive and has a worse lineup in the same time frame but if things dont pick up, its a definite possibility that it ends up with under 15 million sold lifetime.
