It will be interesting to see the April numbers for sure. May 13 or whenever the April numbers come out will tell a lot more about where this is headed.
I think the PS3 software numbers do indicate a lot of Blu-Ray intensive buyers. It's curious that the PS3 software numbers aren't bigger. Who buys consoles without games? I can't quite wrap my head around that.
The most impressive number here is PS2. If you look at PSP/PS2/Wii/DS it shows that price is a huge factor. The industry's doing well, but the U.S. economy sucks. The gameheads will still buy stuff, but the masses will go for the cheaper stuff. Price cuts may play a big role in this yet, it seems.
Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?
