I think you have dificulties with english or don´t even bother read a text past it open paragraph.
Where does it says "We in fact sold less than 3mi last year" ? Where does it says "We overestimet our sales last anounce"?
It dosen´t. This article is based on the assumptions from the "jornalist" and a obscure comment from the MS PR guy.
Every other facts is in either NPD or financial reports.
PS: Microsoft won´t disclosure sales outside of NPD or financial reports.
