Well the idea behind putting all the news in one big batch is mostly it makes it easier for me. But if people think I should be more selective with the news I post I can consider that. I usually post everything because who knows what different people might be interested in. Are there any types of stories you guys don't want to see? I could also maybe ditch the the images to slim down the posts.

Memoirs of an Eve alliance commander: Test veteran talks space diplomacy and The Mittani
CommentIn 2010, Leodavinci joined the fledgling Dreddit corporation, founded in Eve Online by users on an /r/gaming thread. By 2012, he was head diplomat and occasional leader of Test Alliance Please Ignore, then the largest alliance in the game.
“The best way to describe running an Eve alliance is like being a CEO of a major multinational company,” he told users in a Reddit AMA. “Except nobody gets paid but a shit ton of work still has to get done.”
A new hope: The Old Republic subscriptions "decline" as free-to-play "continues to grow"
CommentI don’t know what it’s like to be a subscriber of an MMO that suddenly goes free-to-play, but it must be pretty galling. Every month, I imagine, it becomes tougher to convince yourself that whatever in-game privileges you might have add up to another $10 your peers aren’t paying.
It must be somewhat easier in The Old Republic, where despite change for the better, free players are still visibly second-class citizens. Even so, as free-to-play numbers climb, subscriber rates are plummeting in the opposite direction.

But now it's all official-like, and ZeniMax has confirmed the details of this pricey version of the upcoming MMO, available in both physical and digital formats.
Hands-on: War of the Vikings - What is best in LAN
CommentAs a Viking loomed out of the mist with a two-handed great axe raised high above his head and crushed my Saxon warrior’s skull with a massive blow, it occurred to me that War of the Vikings is really medieval combat’s Counter-Strike.
It wasn’t just the fact that my team was getting eviscerated inside of two minutes for the third round in a row, though that’s a familiar feeling from my time in Counter-Strike. It was the way War of the Vikings could be so simple and easy to understand, and yet demonically difficult at which to excel.
Shadowrun Returns won't be returning until the end of next month
Comments1Well, that's rained on my planned "More Shadowrun" parade where I dress up in uncomfortable leather, don a gas mask and scare people on the streets with a magical katana. The first expansion, Dragonfall, was put off until this month and has now been put off again until February 27th.
The first campaign was a little short and didn't offer the sort of character development I had hoped for, but it did manage to pull me into the dreary neo-noir, punky, magical world of Shadowrun after many years away, and it had some truly excellent writing holding it all together. So, yes, I'm a wee bit sad about having to wait for my second dose.
Funcom offices raided, accused of breaching Trade Securities Act
CommentFuncom employees were greeted at their office in Oslo this morning by officers from The National Authority for Investigation and Prosecution of Economic and Environmental Crime. Staff were then sent home at midday, and officers were seen leaving the building with enough documents to fill several boxes reports Norwegian site E24.
According to another Norwegian site, News in English, the MMO developer behind Age of Conan and struggling The Secret World has been charged with breaching the Trading Securities Act relating to information disclosed about The Secret World from August 2011 until July 2012. It is also being investigated over whether or not Funcom kept an accurate list of people who had access to inside information across that period.
Funcom has now stopped trading on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
How to look good in WildStar and pretty much anywhere
CommentA lot of WildStar involves whacking things with big cartoon swords or shooting other things with big cartoon guns, but there's a lot of fiddling with a slew of customisable features to do in between all the wanton slaughter. The latest DevSpeak video showcases a bunch of the faffing around you can do to make your perfect, likely evolving, character.
Hotline Miami 2 launching in Q3: Something old, something new, something weird, something violent
CommentI like to throw guns at people in Hotline Miami. I don't really like shooting people, finding it a little rude. Also, bullets run out. So I throw guns and feel good about myself. I hope to continue my gun-throwing antics in Q3 this year, when Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number comes out, according to the developer via Twitter.
I once threw a gun at a dog, though, and felt pretty bad about that.
