The first game had good reviews and came with the Halo 3 beta and still only pulled off 1.7 million copies. My point is the series is not worth building upon, it's dead as a door nail, so why not make something new?
|
Because if 3 sells 1.7m it's certainly not dead as a doornail, that's why. It's a lot to just expect a new Ip to do 2m+
|
If 3 sold 1.7 million copies it would be from it's own merit, not the series name.

Yeah...you're really not making much sense.
You know why?
Because pretty everywhere I go, all the forums I visit, whenever Crackdown 3 is mentioned, I always see a good number of people in the thread react positively and saying they will buy it for the xbox one, given their past experiences with the original Crackdown. Now, you're saying that CD 3 would need to completely rebuild their fanbase and start from scratch to build merit, right? Well, seeing as how a ton of people want Crackdown 3 (and this is even without any Crackdown 3 confirmation or info/media), your argument is terribly flawed.
|
What's flawed is your argument, sales = real data, internet forums are such a tiny portion of a games user bae they are irrelevant.

Your response doesn't fit into what we were debating over. You should re-read all of our quotes so you can provide a proper response.
