It sold 1.7 million copies on the back of Halo 3 7 years ago. The sequel then sold 1 million copies 3 years later. By the time C3 comes out it would have been another 5 years. They are building upon a dead series. A new IP will have the same chances of selling well as C3 does.

so whatever MS does with the Crackdown franchise - it will fail anyway, because it is dead according to you.

No, i'm saying it will have to build it's popularity up from the ground again, because the original series is dead. That's why i ended it with "A new IP will have the same chances of selling well as C3 does."
