k I know I am me and I reaaaally don't wanna be that guy now, but principle dictates me to say this.

Killzone SF isn't on the same level critically as KZ 3 and especially not KZ2 (the best of the IP by far). Yet it is selling at a faster pace, most likely due to being the sole launch exclusive worth getting.

Now this is great for the developers, no doubt about that. It is like a fresh start to expand upon as PS4 grows. But as fans of the IP....should you really be encouraging this? It is like celebrating COD sales every year, even though the meta score gets lower and lower. Ideally, we should reward quality that also sells amazing.

(if I behave like this when a X1 game scores lower yet sells higher, feel free to call me out whomever reads this).

 

why are you encouraging microsoft to let 343 handle halo when halo 4the lowest scroing mainline halo game? they obviously arent up to the task and we shouldnt reward them with your purchase. 

See I tried to word my post as politely as I could and got some very reasonable responses from people that normally love to rip into me; you just had to drip passive aggressive into this

Technically, Halo 4 sold below Halo Reach and Halo 3, the other mainline Halo's this gen. So I don't exactly know your angle here since that counters the very point you are trying to make.

Not that I have to tell you, but they improved upon the lore/stroytelling aspect and suffered at MP, hence the drop. They since claimed to listen to feedback and actually staffed up on their multiplayer team, so that is cause to support them. But I am a lore Halo fan first and foremost, and that is where they shined.

But it all comes back to Halo 4 not selling as much as Reach or 3, thus your connection with Halo and KZ isn't there. Plus, correct me if im wrong, but KZ fans aren't exactly as into the lore as Halo fans are. This is neither here or there, but I hope I answered you.
