It's fun to think until 1914 Canada was really the greatest military threat to the US (despite the even greater gap bewteen their populations back there), due to Canada being a part of the British Empire, and the American military being subpar before the country decided to intervene in Europe three years later.

Yeah, I wonder if UK would help it's greatest ally in US or Canada if a war did break out.
