You have a very good eye for aging Wrestlers... or Perhaps just The Ass Man Billy Gunn haha :D

If you haven't seen WWE in ages you would have missed that their now trying to launch a WWE network, basically a video streaming service like Netflix but where all of the content will be from the WWE universe, so just old wrestling, PPV events and Movies like "The Marine, See no evil" so what they've been doing is basically flooding in anyone who can lace up a pair of Wrestling boots and seeing if the crowd wants to watch them. Raw has been extended to 3 hours per episode and they have more "reality tv" type things like NXT where they stick a load of up and coming Wrestlers in a house and see if any of them can go 5 mins without botching.

In reality tho all they've ended up doing is massively over diluting the talent they do have into a massive vat of mediocrity.... Did I mention Kevin Nash was an entrant to the Royal Rumble? http://youtu.be/RPqYrdnq-xE?t=6m29s from Punk the last time Nash came back, almost died laughing at this put down.

they are boned until Vince croaks because he is always going to... well, be this guy:

Jesus why couldn't I stop watching... if I get that song stuck in my head I'll be taking legal action on you..... .... stand back.... FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...

But the thing about Vince is... he is a god lol, considering his father never wanted the promoters to ever get envolved with the talent Vince made the WWE what it is... Entertainment, and also in his wrestling prime Vince would have put most of the current roster to shame http://youtu.be/jDN0mWzQ0Ks?t=1m52s < (should point out this is from an era of Wrestling where it was less PG and is Vince Vs his Daughter, remember it's all scripted and he loves his family more than his own life so it's just acting but still it is a tad disturbing, my point was just regarding his build but I went on to watch that match... it's a bit grim)

Even in his real life some of the stuff about his Growing up just reads like he is a tough bastard "McMahon claimed one of his stepfathers, Leo Lupton, used to beat his mother and attacked him when he tried to protect her.[6] He said, "It is unfortunate that he died before I could kill him. I would have enjoyed that." " That is some powerful quote right there, really an insight to how his mind ticks.

Regarding NxT and all those shows like tough enough they're all the same, they all promise someone who "wins" the show will get a push to be a superstar but normally the rest of the failures get stuck together as some form of stable who comes and beats up other members of the roster demanding some camera time, it's been done so many times now tho it's just overly predictable and boring. No competition has really hurt the WWE in my opinion.
