"One element that I do have to bring up is how the Wii U GamePad is used. If you are playing on the television, the touchscreen will have nothing displayed on it and it stays blank the entire time. There are no options to quickly select levels or see simple information displayed. If you are going for off-TV play, it is the same deal as nothing will be displayed on the television. It is not the worst thing ever, but it made me want to use the GamePad less and that can't be what Nintendo and Retro Studios wanted."
Another (Nintendo) game that barely uses it...Mario 3D World not only barely uses the Gamepad, but the reason you have to use it sometimes is completely unnecessary and annoying, imo.I´m perfectly fine playing with the Pro controller and all of a sudden the game makes me use the damn pad just for what?Touch a platform to raise it?...blow into the Gamepad mic?...get outta here with that crap.
If that´s what we can expect, then this thing is only an albatross hanging around the system´s neck, dragging it down.
