That's what it's being called in the medical journals... So it's not really a mock disease...
Wiitis is a new form of Nintendinitis. Nintendinitis goes back to at least 1990 in the medical journals as a form of repetitive stress injury. Wiitis is different because it's more often sohulder area instead of thumb/hands...
-itis stands for imflamation. Although some words may just be made up, but there is a reason these types of conditions end with itis. If it's too origina, people wouldn't have any clue as to what it is.
