It is so sad when you see someone crushing on someone else for years, but they will never fess up. Everyone knows, but the guy or girl is to insecure to make a move. To me, that is creepy, disrespectful, and self degrading.

and then when the guy does confess... usually with an overblow "I've always loved you" type confession he's confused why it goes badly and think he's "friendzoned".   When the girl is just creeped out that a person who she thought was her friend was secretly mind banging her for years.

If the guy doesn't want to get friendzoned, he has to create some sexual tension. What do you do if you sense that a girl you are not attracted to is into you? You work to eliminate any sexual polarity. You treat her like you would a friend.

Yes; women dress nice for positive attention. When she sees a guy looking at her, she might think 'he thinks I'm cute' when in reality he could be having sexual fantasies about her.

The difference is that women can appreciate physical attractiveness without having the slightest thought of having sex with that person. Most men cannot do that.
