Here's some more relevant numbers. .23% (Wind Waker) and .07% (Twilight Princess)

That's the attach ratio of the two games one their respected platforms.

And let's not talk about Goldeneye like it's an accurate comparison. Goldeneye was successful because it gave birth to home console shooters. Try comparing it's sales to games like Halo and Call of Duty, which held Goldeneye's torch.

Because only hardcore Nintendo fans bought the GCN, hence a higher attach rate of a Nintendo game.

But Twilight Princess attracted the non-fans as well, hence its higher overall numbers.

And that's what Zelda U needs to do; attract the mainstream, not just the fanatic Nintendo supporters.

No, the Wii attracted casuals "as well." It was the "casual" kids system, remember? Try convincing anyone with eyes that the Wii attracted more "hardcore" gamers than the GCN. Please do. "Hardcore" gamers stuck to the 360 and PS3.

There is no "hence." It's fact. The fact is, there's no evidence to suggest that "gritty" Zelda is the preferred game.

Core games sold better on Wii than on GCN.

And yes, Ocarina looked realistic for the time within the bounds of fantasy, like Twilight Princess and the tech demo. Or God of War.

Okay lol now you're just trolling. God of War? They made Turok 2 on the N64. If they wanted to make a realistic game "in the bounds of fantasy," they could have done it on the N64. You're reaching for straws, dude.

I would love to see THIS game on WiiU, but it was 2011 and only a demo. Do you think that the WiiU can handle better graphics than the demo ?

I think it will. I loved TP's art style the best then WW. Any of those as long as they stay away from SS's artstyle. I throwup in mouth a little anytime I see it. Wtf were they thinking?

Aonuma has already confirmed that it won't look like this at all. He already said not to expect the tech demo, then he say he won't make this Zelda realistic, then he said he wants to surprise gamers with the new artstyle. (like what he did with Wind Waker?) He likes color. Get the barf bag ready.
