But, to be fair, all you can really tell is that most avid gamers haven't expressed enough interest in the game to buy a Wii U. That said, you could also argue that over 2/3rds of Wii U system owners also haven't instantly bought this game. The people who already own a Wii U are among the biggest Nintendo fans, so that's surprising as well.

Typically, 3D mario games have an ratio of 10-20% of the instal base in terms of sales. They also have very long legs.

Also, my OP was talking about current owners satisfaction meaning that a large majority of current SM3DW owners are more then satisfied with the game. Hence why I said that he was in the minority of people who disliked it.
