I've never played Xenoblade, but isn't X supposed to be an entirely different concept? It doesn't look like a safe sequel to me. Xenoblade struck gold with the critics, probably the best result you could ask with a home console JRPG, and I think it'll be highly unlikely to happen again.

Uncharted 4 is a safe sequel, and Naughty Dog's metacritic history has been pretty stellar the past few years.
