Sure Nintendo's IP's could. SMB3 was a graphic powerhouse for its day, DKC was the most beautiful game of its generation, M64 and Z:OoT were nothing short of groundbreaking and Mario Galaxy and Xenoblade pushed Wii to its limits. Nintendo has traditionally been known as a graphics masterpiece maker.
