Update 2 - This is Ed, your friendly neighbourhood LinkedIn surfer. I've had a quick look at a few other Ruffian job postings, and there are several possibilities as regards that impending announcement.

Ruffian seems to be working on at least two unannounced games right now, one "an announced Action/RPG title for the PC platform built in Unity", as described by software engineer Simon Kilroy, the other an Unreal Engine game for Xbox One, mentioned by lead artist Paul Large, lead engineer Duncan Harrison and technical director Barry Cairns. It might interest you to know that Epic's Mark Rein has just wished Microsoft's Phil Spencer "good luck" with the announcement. A tease? I wouldn't put it past him - Rein's the mischievous sort.

Paul Large has also worked on a couple of CryEngine 3 projects - the confirmed-dropped Streets of Rage: Reborn and an untitled third person title, which could be the original version of Ryse: Son of Rome for Xbox 360 (Barry Cairns's profile corroborates this). Ruffian has had extensive dealings with Microsoft over the past year - Engineer Robert Ballantyne worked on Halo: Spartan Assault and Kinect Sports Rivals, for instance, plus an "upcoming next gen console title".

More soon, I hope.
