It's fun playing as characters that are doing fantastical things. Or things that aren't right in society. Games let you try out things you normally can't or won't do. That's why I enjoy games. Who wouldn't want to live in the Pokemon universe. Where schools teach how to train. And medication is free for Pokemon. Or Play as Hulk in a Marvel game. Or kicking some ass as Samus Aran.
