Of course they are dicks. That's why they refuse to make the light optional. You know for people who don't play with a hundred friends or swing it around like a motion controller.

Tiny thing for you, big dealbreaker for me.

It absolutely limits my enjoyment of the games I am playing in my dark room. So that's obviously their goal since they refuse to  change it for me.

400€ console but forgot to code a light switch. Well they didn't forget to code it because developers have full control over the light. But god forbid users get that switch in their hands. Unthinkable that some gamers wouldn't want a flashlight on their tv or like to play longer than 7h straight.
