Everyone remember single speed CD-ROMs and single speed DVD players? They were expensive and a lot of them weren't made well. There is no way I'd even consider getting anything Bluray until the price goes down and the speed goes up.
I like the PS3, but it is hard to believe that they won't update bluray drives in future years models.
