The only times anyone could have been bored with the Wii U was between January and most of March and April to August last year. The software drought had a gap with the releases of Lego City Undercover and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (both of which have a ridiculous amount of content to get through) and Ended in August with a steady stream of releases from both Nintendo and third parties.
And for me personally I didn't suffer too much from the drought because I bought ZombiU, Call of Duty Black Ops II, Darksiders 2, Assassin's Creed III and Arkham City when I got the console so I had plenty to keep me busy even before you take the VC promotion and eShop games into account.
