In the already super oversaturated market of FPS's these days, how would an indie developer survive releasing another FPS?

And that's a horrible arguement to use for disliking 2D platformers.

I never said I dont like 2d platformers just getting sick of seeing them on wii u. And yes I would like a brand new FPS IP what Is wrong with that? No an indie developer wouldnt survive releasing a FPS but why not a point and click or something more imaginative
