Well firstly they may still make an option where you can buy the whole game at once, but even if not, waiting for each individual episode to download (which'll probably take no time at all), shouldn't kill the game for you!

It's more that I've yet to see a series of episodes that wasn't overly expensive when bought individually, though techinically I can't make that call about this game until I know how much content it's going to have.  And I just hate having my game broken up into bits.  It's extremely annoying and breaks the mood and pacing.  And then to finish the story I've still got to wait for season 2, so I might as well wait on that as well.  I just hate the concept as a whole.  I want to be immersed, not strung along and paying out little by little over a course of years, especially with a game that's so intense and atmospheric.  Makes no sense to me.

But seriously, I see where you're coming from. I guess all I can say is try to think of Season 2 as a sequal like normal gets typically get.
