I would hire more people to make games.
I would let people do their own IP/thing when they are idle or 50/50 new/old IP.
Would give every Nintendo employe a sytem for free so they can showcase it to their friends.
Would rename WiiU or would simply add a 2 inside the U and use the U as the LOGO. (drop Wii from the LOGO)
Would bundle a showcase title like Wario or Nintendland with every WiiU as a download (does cost 2 cents in traffic)
Would replace the shitty battery with the better on in every WiiU controller.
Would stop focusing on mainstream audience that actually destroyed the gaming industry with PS360 and would stop streamlining my games (Metroid Prime 2, Skyward Sword, Mario Galaxy 2) for people that have a short attention span and slow comprehension.
Would make a new kind of NINTENDO SEAL OF QUALITY.
To avoid shovelware and force third party to actually care about their products.
Force them to drop SHORT TERM PROFIT mentality.
Force them to drop the "bad sales during first 3 months = failure = price drop that devalues the games" mentality.
Force everyone to make "buy game during first 6 months and you get every DLC for free!" a standard instead of
"pay extra to have a season pass that does not even include everything". Also prevends companies from selling unfinished games.
Force companies to implement the option for user hosted servers OR they are never allowed to drop support for their own dev/pub hosted official servers. So they cant force customers to move on to the next game because they closed the servers on purpose.
Force them to drop the "you have exactly 12 months to make that game not a single day more" mentality. Let the games take the time they need to become good.
I would make my NES/GB catalog FREE for WiiU and 3DS users and let the games sell on iOS for 2-4 dollars depending on the game (Links Awakening = 4dollars)
Would start selling my blockbuster games for 30 instead of 60 because there is actually no reason to sell games for 60. Blurays sell for 5-10 even tho most movies are more expensive to make than games because there is more people into movies thanks to the low price.
Would make "buy game on WiiU get it on 3DS for free" (not vice versa so people care more about WiiU! And WiiU owners actually get a reward for owning the system)
P.S. the stuff that "forces" thiry party to do things is GOOD for customers. Every company that does not do it is automatically a BAD company. You know like there is this statistics thing made by greenpeace? about how much waste is produces at company XY and if a company does not reply or scores BAD they are automatically listed as bad for the environment? Something like that.
So if third parties dont want to offer value to their customers by accepting these rules they have no right to make games.
