Gaming would be a niche hobby.
Let's face it, Nintendo popularized video gaming in a whole new way, and they've been so inventive that console gaming wouldn't look anything like it does today; no Dpads, no shoulder buttons (?), no analog sticks, open worlds in 3D (AND in 2D (the legend of Zelda was one of the very first open world games)) would have taken a lot longer before being possible.
