Nintendo has still some unused IPs in their pockets. So far this generation we have seen Mario, Zelda, Paper Mario, Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Pokemon, Fire Emblem, Battallion Wars, Mario Party and Metroid. Plus some new IPs like Wii Sports, Wii Play (not really), and Wii Fit.

Nintendo has still got:

*Donkey Kong
Hopefully they release a full-fledged adventure game. (From a western dev?)

*Star Fox
Hopefully they totally ditch the adventure aspects and release a game about flying and shooting stuff.

*F-Zero
This game is great just for its music, but the gameplay hasn't changed in 17 years. It needs a shot in the arm.

*Golden Sun
Will probably stay handheld-bound.

*Kirby
Announced.

*Earthbound (Mother)
At best, relegated to DS. More likely VC. More likely than that, dead.

*Pikmin
Heavily rumored to be in the works

*Animal Crossing
Announced.

*Luigi/Wario/Waluigis tittles
WarioWare for Wii is awesome, and IMO a better direction than platformers. I'm hoping for a WarioFootWare with the Fit board. Other two don't need own games.

*More Mario Sports tittles
Mario Baseball is announced.

*Pokemon RPG like it was done on the GB/DS
This is never going to happen and people should get over it.

*Kid Icarus
Heavily rumored, but I'll believe it when I see it.

*Mario RPG
Uh... Paper Mario. That's the only Mario RPG there is anymore.

*Eternal Darkness
Unlikely.

*Geist
Unlikely.

*And a lot more of the Wii series + Disaster Day of Crisis and some unnanounced titles.

I know Im missing some, please feel free to add any you dont see here.

I would wish to see a new Earthbound, a new Golden Sun and a New Donkey Kong... PLEASE NINTENDO.

"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."

Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.
