I'm saying people opinions on games based on how the current system works is meaningless. You use metacritic right? Well you must love Skyrim which has a 92 on PS3. The movie critics at least have standards and don't usually have brand loyalists. Some sites like polygon are more negative towards Sony and while others thnk Sony is God like Ign. It's too subjective these reviews. Plus we live in a day were critics flat out ignore things because of hype. Look at skyrim on ps3 which was released broken. 92 on metacritic. The last of us had objective problems. Ai that wasn't that good.glitches like Ellen floating to heaven and others.A story that really wasn't really new if watch movies. The story isn't even amazing by movie standards, only by video game standards because how low it is. Gameplay being average. Nobody I hear talks about the gameplay being a masterpiece. The point being is some people weight things differently and none of them have any standard. What makes a game masterpiece? The story? The gameplay? Why are they more valid than me? This why metacritic and Internet awards are a joke and only valid for followers in life.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I had no problems with glitches or bad AI in the game. The enemy AI was one of the best In any video game to date, especially the humans. You make it sound like everyone who played the game had glitches, a small minority only got glitches which is normal for games.(I realize the PS3 version of Skyrim is the exception) Also I think the gameplay was a masterpiece too, the melee combat especially. I have honestly never seen such brutal and amazing melee combat. The best part about TLOU is how they blend everything together. You couldn't make up any better reasons? That just shows how fantastic the game is.

There were indeed AI issues that broke immersion. You must have been lucky not to see them. Or just looking the other way.
