Nintendo 3DS: 50 million MAXIMUM worldwide by end of 2013? Don't be surprised.

Well the Wii U by all standards is a flop. 3DS however is and will contiune to sell well.

Oh yeah, totally. I realize I made it sound like they were doing okay on all fronts, when all I meant is this urge to make absurd claims like 'Wii U will sell 240 million / 3DS will sell 180 million' is coming from an exaggerated place. They don't need to sell that much to be successful. The Wii U of course is so far tracking below Gamecube levels so it's doing horribly but the 3DS is a success even if it isn't tracking with DS levels. People just need to be happy with what they have with the 3DS instead of imagining pie in the sky results that can't happen.

And with the Wii U, Nintendo will be lucky if they can come close to Gamecube numbers.
