Look at Intel's ER

They intend to sell 32nm CPUs from 2012 for all segments over $150 in 2015. That should let you know how serious they are about keeping that market.

That's because AMD technically can't make a smaller processor.  They had to make a deal with Global Foundies to survive and unfortunately Global Foundries can't get any yields in the 20 nm range.  Once their deal with Global Foundries ends though, they'll be able to pump out better processors.  Their Jaguar's actually a gold mine for them right now.
