Why don't they do it with Super Smash Brothers Brawl? Have three almost identical versions with a few unique characters and levels in each? They could call them SSBB Blue, SSBB Red. and SSBB Green... Then fans could pay $150 buying all three versions and basically getting the full SSBB game. |
It's pretty much Nintendo milking Pokemon fans. In theory it encourages Pokemon players to get together and trade their Pokemon back and forth to get the full set (rather than buying both versions which the friendless compulsive people do).
