I'm certain that it's fake, but I have to comment on one thing:
Two versions, a diskless and a disk drive one? That would definitely create consumer confusion. They can't just go into a shop and then be presented with the question of which. Not everyone really knows what they need. I absolutely think ALL of the consoles should have a disk drive, the need for that isn't going away anytime soon. Even having a limited supply of diskless ones WILL create the problem I described.
